The Director General of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Bushehr Province: The loading and unloading performance of Bushehr Port from the beginning of this year (Iranian calendar), exceeded 6 million tons for the first time, setting an unprecedented record.
Mohammad Shakibinasab stated: As of March 10 this year, the performance of Bushehr Port increased by 34% to 6 million 42 thousand 517 tons.
He said: During this period, the amount of non-oil exports increased by 19% to 3 million 217 thousand tons and oil exports increased by 57% to 2 million 825 thousand tons.
The Director General of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Bushehr Province continued: From the beginning of this year, the container performance of Bushehr Port increased by 30% to 70 thousand 226 container units.
Shakibinasab added: During the aforementioned period, the main export items of Bushehr Port included cement, clinker, construction materials and metals.
