Operation of new port equipment at Shahid Rajaee Port

The Deputy Director of Ports and Economy of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan announced the start of operation of new port equipment, including 2 reach stackers, and 2 side lifts at the dangerous goods terminal of Shahid Rajaee Port.

Referring to the operation of container loading and unloading equipment at Shahid Rajaee Port, The Deputy Director of Ports and Economy of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan announced the investment value of this equipment to be over $10 million. By importing this amount of port equipment, employment will be created for more than 100 people.

He added: In line with the development of the sea-based economy and supporting port businesses, 10 port tugs and two transtainers will be added to the existing equipment capacity in the next few months.
